Our Sweet Pea Print custom photo birthday party invitations are one of our top selling categories.

We LOVE designing custom photo birthday cards, they are so fun and special.

We can make anything, just tell us your ideas and thoughts or pick out one that you see and tell us if you have any edits (ex. colors, fonts, etc) Anything can be changed since we design our own layouts. We really do love what we do! We do not charge additional for any edits or custom design and do not print anything until you are 100% satisfied. Yes, we do are own printing as well, no outsourcing.

With every order, we include a couple of free envelopes and 1 free photo magnet as a keepsake.

Damask Themed Wedding

I was very excited to work on a custom designed damask themed wedding.

The details were so beautiful - light blue, silver and white. I immediately stated brainstorming with the bride and grooms direction.

As many of you know, when you work with me I like to come up with "Inspiration Boards" this keeps my client and I on the same page.

Below is Damask Inspiration Board. This board incorporates - elements my clients sent, pieces I designed and some elements that inspired me in the design phase.

When I saw this stunning cake below by Confectionery Designs I immediately incorporated it with the story board, it perfectly matched the invitations and stationary we designed.

When I saw the beautiful flowers below by Stoneblossom Floral & Event Design they were the perfect flowers for the damask theme.

Custom Baby Shower Invites

I was very excited when I received an email for custom baby shower invites and save-the-dates to from on old friend's mother, whom was hosting the party.

My client was very fun and nice to work with, she was very excited for her daughter and son-in-law and was hosting a baby shower for them. Her design direction was "elegant, baby like and neutral colors"

I came up with different custom design ideas for her and she fell in love with the 4x5 save the date below.

I then designed coordinating 4x5 layered baby shower invite - the layering is such a nice touch on invites.

From what I was told, everyone loved them, yay!

Jillian and Christoper - Custom Wedding Invitation and Stationery Purple, Silver and Pearl

Jillian and I were friends when we were much younger and re-antiquated though facebook which has been awesome! When her fiance proposed to her she was very excited and started planning. She contacted me to work on her custom invites, programs, menu cards and thank you notes. She was looking for something deep purple, silver and pearl with a petal envelope and fell in love with bickley script. Everything came out so perfect, just like them.

Color Trends for 2011

While doing this research for 2011 trends I couldn't help but think of many fond memories of my own wedding and also some of my textile design classes I took many years ago while attending Buffalo State College. The 2011 year in color will have a soft vintage style that gives off a hint of fresh spring colors and will provide rich fall and winter accents.

Spring - many of the spring colors of this year include sky blue, emerald, pink, dandelion, and green.

Summer - you will notice much brighter tints like orange, yellow, orchid, cobalt blue, pink, red, green and purple.

Fall & Winter - colors will have very rich shades that include earth tones and soft vintage varieties. These shades include, dark crimson, olive green, chocolate brown, champagne,
dandelion, purple, razzel pink, orange, and blazer blue.

Look out for vintage style weddings and bright and earthy tones...2011 is sure to be unforgettable and fabulous.

Hello 2011

Today is my very first time blogging, fun!

I am going to try to make this a weekly thing with ideas, trends and displaying some of my work.

I am very excited about my company Sweet Pea Print and am looking forward to working on all of the fun projects I have booked for 2011.

With such different creative, fun and elegant events I have started to make "inspiration boards" which I will post after each event is complete (I don't want to spoil any surprises) but they you will see how my clients vision was created.
