Custom Yellow, Teal and White Bridal Shower Invitaitons and Stationery

It is always such a great compliment to not only work with brides for their invitations, but also when their bridesmaids come to me as well.  For this bride her colors were teal and yellow, but for her wedding the focus was teal and using yellow as a complementary color.  Therefore, for the shower we reversed the colors and highlighted the yellow and had subtle touches of teal.  Using a die-cut for the invitation of a wedding dress was a very cute and creative way to set the theme of the shower, and we even added some pattern to the dress.  It then just turned into being a shower of honoring the bride in her wedding dress.  This was carried over in the thank you cards, favor tags, cupcake toppers, and scratch-offs. What was new for me was doing scratch-offs.  The bridesmaids wanted an easy way to give out centerpieces and also make it fun because really who doesn't love doing lotto scratch-offs?  This is something I think all bridesmaids should at the shower because no one really knows of a good way to give them out, but do not want them to go to waste.  What I also like about this set was doing a mix of sizes for the cupcake toppers.

Custom Circus Themed Birthday Favor Tag and Thank you note

While I originally starting off focusing on weddings, as my brides or their friends have babies I have been lucky enough to be asked to continue their stationery needs.  What I love about doing with kid birthday parties is how creative each one is and really goes after bold colors.  For Joey's first birthday they had a whole circus theme that really made use of primary colors.  Having customized favor tags really gave the theme an extra little touch that many guests noticed at the party. I really like how this family also kept the same graphic and colors for the thank you not cards as well.

Kim and Christian were a fabulous couple we worked with on their custom wedding stationery.

Kim had a very clear vision of what she wanted we had various meetings in our in-home studio and correspondence online that she shared with us all of her ideas. The whole process working with her was a lot of fun!

Since their wedding was taking place at a vineyard in Rochester NY called Casa Larga she wanted to have a grape theme and wanted to incorporate various colors of red, purple and teal which would be carried thought-out the wedding from the stationery to the bridesmaids to the tables.

The design phase began, it was a lot of fun putting her ideas onto paper. Everything came together so well.

As always, we design print, cut and assemble everything in-house. This is something we really believe in so we can work more directly with the client and know what everything looks like before the final pieces hit our clients hand.

We first started out with their Save-the-Date magnet which incorporated their picture and colors. Then we worked on their Custom Wedding Invitation which was a pocket, with 3 inserts, band/tag and 2 layer invite this was a fun piece to design for it really set the tone for what the rest of the stationery was going to look like.

For the pre-wedding/post wedding invitations we created both her
Rehearsal Dinner Invitation and Continental Breakfast Invitation. The Rehearsal Dinner Invitation was layered with pearl paper and we used the grape motif the Continental Breakfast Invitation also had the same motif however we rounded the corners of the invitation per our clients direction to give it a unique look.

The program we designed was Tea-Length, layered and folded it was such a beautiful fun piece that really tied everything together.

Table Numbers, Escort Cards, Favor tags were all flat layered pieces and were all coordinating to the table colors.

We made signage for the Sweet Table which is a pretty cute story - they had all of their bridesmaids/groomsmen tell them their favorite candy and then I made tent cards that indicated whom liked what...it was a very cute personal way to inappropriate their wedding party.

They had hotel thank you baskets for their guests staying at the hotel they reserved. We designed a coordinating thank you note for the gift basket as well as coordinating Water bottle, Candy Bar, Tic Tacs. They incorporated other goodies as well within the baskets.

Then to complete the set we designed their Photo Thank you card which had their picture as well as the grape.

Tiffany - Wine Themed Bridal Shower with Rhinestone Buckle

We were contacted by one of our fabulous clients to design her bridal shower invites. We were in the process of designing her and her fiances wedding invitations as well, so we were keeping that in mind while designing.

Her bridal shower was taking place at the beautiful Springfiled Grill in Ohio and her theme of the shower was "wine"

Now we love all our clients but we especially loved working with Tiffany because she was always very open minded and let us try new things.

We started off designing a 5x7 invite but thought since it was a "wine theme" maybe we could print on a shape.

I immediately started drawing out the concept and made an outline of a wine bottle. Then I made a smaller invite of text that would be placed where the label on the wine bottle would go.

Then I started thinking....it needs a little something more, hum...what todo?? Since her wedding invites (which you will see next month) used a rhinestone buckle so I thought that was a great way to introduce it and added that on to the design and BAMB, we created her a totally fabulous layered, die-cut bridal shower invitation.

To coordinate with the invitation we designed a layered RSVP card which indicated various fabulous menu choices for her guests - YUM! We layered it in coordinating stock and used coordinating fonts that would be used thought out the rest of her wedding stationery.

As her favors, her mother purchased wine for everyone so we designed a diamond layered favor tag that was attached to the wine bottle favors with ribbon - such a beautiful custom touch

Then to round off her bridal shower set we designed beautiful coordinating thank you notes.

Everything seamlessly went together and coordinated so well. See below...

When we were thinking about what kind of 2nd birthday party to have for our daughter we immediately thought of Elmo. Our daughter LOVES him! So the brainstorming began and we came up with a custom made Elmo Inspired Birthday party.

The pieces we at SweetPeaPrint created were: Elmo Inspired Photo Layered Invitation, Custom Cupcake Toppers, Custom Water Bottle Labels, Custom Favor Tags, Custom Tent Cards, Custom Candy bar Wrappers, Custom Thank you card and two Custom Banners

Invites

First, we set the tone of the party with our custom Elmo Inspired Birthday cards. We incorporated pink, red and in the invites which would be the color scheme of the party as well as the picture. We used our Red Pepper Linen, Pink and Pearl Card-stock.

CUSTOM BANNER

We created two custom banners for the party. The top banner we custom cut scallop shapes and custom cut the letters of her name. We then layered them. The bottom banner was custom cut triangle shapes with custom numbers and an Elmo inspired design layered. It was a really special piece and are looking forward to making more of these not only for birthday but for bridal showers, baby showers, etc.

DESSERT TABLE/FAVORS

For the favors we made custom scalloped favor tags that when around a frosted sugar cookie. YUM! We make our favor tags in different shapes - scallops, diamonds, squares and circles. They are such a special personal touch on favors that can come in either one, two or three layers.

CANDY BAR FAVORS

We also made custom designed candy bar wrappers incorporating the color scheme and picture from the invites. As many of you know, candy bars is how we started our business back in 2004, we love making them! They are so unique and special and our top selling favor for wedding events and birthdays. We design them for large candy bars or mini candy bars.

CUPCAKE TOPPERS



Elmo Inspired Cupcake Toppers - we used the same card-stock we used for the invites and designed Elmo Inspired Cupcake toppers. There were 4 different designs in all. These were a BIG hit! We have been making a lot of these for bridal and birthday events. They are so unique and a fun way to decorate cupcakes while making them really personal to your event.

WATER BOTTLE LABELS

We then created custom water bottle wrappers. We used the same color concept and picture from the invites and attached them to water bottles. Our water bottle wrappers are water resistant for up to 4-hours! Great for bridal bags, cook-outs, corporate parties, etc!

FOOD TENT CARDS

We created custom tent cards that were layered with same pink and red stock we used for her invites. We labeled each yummy cookie so everyone knew what delicious cookie they were going to eat. Tent cards can be used for foods, photos, etc. They are a great way to let your guest know what they are about to eat or looking at.

THANK YOU CARD

To say thanks for our guests we designed coordinating thank you cards on pearl paper. It was a folded card so we could write a nice note inside.

Back story:
Last year when our daughter was turning ONE we were so excited we made the custom invitations and and pretty much bought out a local party store with decorations, lol!
