Kate / Conor - Nautical Themed Wedding Invitations and Stationery

Last year I was contacted by a beautiful bride-to-be Kate, a referral from her future mother-in-law. I was honored that she contacted me. She described the look/feel of her wedding and was very passionate about having everything look clean and coordinated. After our email conversations we knew we were a perfect match to work on Kate/Conor's wedding and we so excited they selected Sweet Pea Print as their wedding stationery vendor. It is all about the details.

In January of 2011 we met in person, in Newport RI. It was such a fun meeting. Kate had fabulous ideas using white linen/navy blue and a touch of green and seashells. We feel in love with the ideas and really embraced them.

We first started off creating a custom save the date magnet. It was a fun design using a photo, custom designed shell art work and we played with the fonts.

We then proceeded to created a very clean/elegant looking pocket invitations which was layered and had 3 layered inserts, belly band and a 3 layered personalized tag. Her and her fiance were very happy with the results.

As the months got closer we started working on various other custom coordinating stationery which included:

Sweet Pea Print Reveals New Web Look

Just in time for fall and the holiday season, we have launched a refreshing, new website. The new site not only shows inventory of invitations and photo cards but also showcases our new products in the wedding and party categories including: complete party packages, cupcake toppers and various new favors.

The focus contributes to the consistent growth of our company. We’re excited to hear the reactions from our customers.

August 15th (the day of our launch) is a VERY exciting day for us!

Erin/Josh Wedding Theme - Purple and Silver wedding invitations and stationery

We had the privilege to work on Erin and Josh custom invitations and coordinating stationery for their wedding. They are so in love and were so fun to work with.

The story of how we got them as a client is a great story, so I thought I would share....

At the time they were planning their wedding there was all of this buzz about whom what working on Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding. I thought wow, that is so awesome...I wonder who is making their stationery. Around the same time, Erin's father, whom is a newscaster on one of our local new stations, announced his daughters engagement. My mother called, excited (he is one of her favorite newscasters) and she encouraged me to write him. I was hesitant at first, but with all the buzz about Prince William and Kate Middleton's I decided to listen to my mom and write him. Within 3 hours he wrote me back, I couldn't believe it! He told me he would forward the message to his wife and daughter. At that point him writing me was enough, but a week later his wife wrote me back and set up a meeting with us. I could not believe it!!!! We met and they booked Sweet Pea Print to design their custom hand-made wedding stationery...AMAZING!!! This was a case that proved that if you put yourself out there sometimes it works out...wow, I still am in awe and honored to have worked on this wedding for our local celebrity!

As mentioned before, they were so much fun to work with. They came in with a vision of what they wanted the pieces incorporate Purple/Silver/ and daisy's. We first came up with a custom logo and we applied that to all of the pieces.

We custom designed their invite, table numbers, escort cards, programs, Mr. and Mrs. sign, tic tacs, life savers and water bottle wrappers.

We were very pleased with the outcome of their custom designs and so were they.

Congrats Erin and Josh, it was an HONOR to work with you!!!!

Olivia's 1st Birthday - Cupcake theme

We love all our clients, however repeat clients are super fabulous and this order was for a repeat client. We were so excited they asked us to work on their daughters 1st birthday party.

The theme of the party was cupcakes, pink and white. They wanted something simple, unique and sweet.

We started coming up with some designs and they LOVED what we came up with.

A cute cupcake with 1 candle in it, layered on pink and pearl metallic card stock. For the party we created coordinating cupcake toppers which we were told were a hit. After the party was complete our client sent us a pic of their daughter from the party and we incorporated their beautiful little girl in the coordinating layout! Happy 1st birthday cutie pie!

4th of July BBQ Couples Bridal Shower Invites

We were contacted by one of our FAVORITE clients to design her bridal shower invites. The party was going to take place on July 4th so we decided to use the "red, white and blue" colors. Since it was a casual bbq for couples we wanted to have fun with the design while keeping it classy. We used a silhouette of a couple and placed a heart above them. We couldn't resist creating a firework image in the shape of a heart. We layered the invitation with crimson red, navy and pearl metallic card stock. We we very pleased with the results. We then designed coordinating thank you notes and cupcake toppers.

Robyn Bridal Shower - Navy and White

We were contacted by a fabulous mother-of-the-bride whom was hosting her daughters bridal shower at a wonderful restaurant in Laguna Beach.

The color scheme of the wedding is navy, peach and white and wanted to do something with the navy/white colors.

She fell in love with our bridal shower invite and went with a layered invite on white card stock and navy linen. We also deigned coordinating bridal shower thank you cards which were folded and scored.

Michelle and Jeff - Indian Inspired Wedding

We worked on a fabulous and elegant Indian themed wedding for one of our clients.

When we sat down at our first meeting in our in-home studio they had a very clear vision the theme/colors they wanted for their wedding. We first started off with custom save-the-dates. The background custom patterned we designed on their save-the-dates we used throughout the rest of their custom stationery. It came out looking so fabulous on the metallic pearl paper which has a elegant shimmer to it. The color scheme was red, gold, and white, so pretty and fabulous.

Art Deco Inspired Wedding Photo Shoot

We were asked to participate in a fabulous Art Deco photo shoot was put together and photographed by the fabulous Bellaria Designs Photography in Rhode Island.

The photo shoot was set up to take place at the Avon Cinema in Rhode Island and Bellaria Designs Photography put an amazing group of wedding professionals together to make her vision come to life. It was Art Deco Themed which not only included classic Hollywood but it was very glamorous with a color scheme of platinum's, blacks and white.

It was an honor to work on this amazing photo shoot with such talented professionals!

Our client found us though our facebook page, and started to describe her vision of the reception:

Mackenzie Childs Courtly Checkered Print Inspired Bridal Shower

We were contacted by one of our fabulous clients to work on custom bridal shower invites and coordinating thank you cards for her future sister-in-law. The theme of the bridal shower was Mackenzie Childs Courtly Checkered Print magenta and teal. We immediately went to the web to look up the pattern to get ideas. What a fabulous print!

Using the above inspiration and keeping in mind that the colors of the shower also incorporated magenta and teal we started to come up with some designs for our client. After some tweaking with color and design this was our clients final pieces for the bridal shower:
